The history of COGEX: A strategic evolution at the service of Industry

With solid experience in operating and developing logistics and transport solutions for the chemical industry, Cyrille SELLON founded COGEX in 1990.

In a booming market, our ambition is to create the specialist in contract packaging, filling and logistics for the chemical industry in the south of France.

In 2000, to ensure a growth strategy, the Group was structured and organized around :

  • COGEX Développement, the Group’s HOLDING, responsible for corporate development and cross-functional activities.

  • COGEX SUD, an operating subsidiary dedicated to the operation of activities outsourced by its customers in the region

In 2006, COGEX diversifies. The Group acquires LIMPIDEX based in Montereau -Fault-Yonne (77) (Limpidex), a specialist in small format contract packaging.

In 2022, Mr. David Lagarde took over the company with the ambition of modernizing and transforming Cogex into a leading logistics operator. He wants to play a role in projects aimed at strengthening the low-carbon industry.
